The Vision
Not Super. Woman. Is a brand and organisation that provides listeners with immediate access to industry leaders in psychology, health, beauty, and wellness across womanhood and parenthood. Presented by two women who are living parallel experiences, Bec a homemaker, and Zoe a working mum, they ask the hard questions, and relate by sharing their rawest or most ridiculous experiences, in an attempt to navigate relatable and achievable advice from each industry professionals, and become a go-to resource for top tips and obtainable essentials supported by the brand Not Super. Woman.
The Duo
Bec and Zoe are two women that have been best friends for 23yrs. In that time, they have ridden the waves of womanhood together. They have empathised, cheered, laughed and leant on each other through each step, to regularly come to the conclusion it’s exhausting to try and be it all. They decided it was time to be vulnerable, remove the perfection filter many platforms promote, and brave their mistakes and missteps directly to professionals, in hope of creating a branded community that is trusted, and empowers women to step away from the pressure to be super, and understand what it is to be a woman.
About Bec
Bec grew up absolutely loving film, so it was safe to say, that’s what she wanted to do. After completing a degree in a Bachelor of Film & TV, Bec dabbled in it all - branded entertainment, network drama, live entertainment, and a dalliance in advertising. Then in her late 20’s, Bec worked with the production company High Wire Films, working on comedies, and light entertainment for the ABC. By then, married and ready for the next step Bec took a deluded ‘break’ to have her first baby, with the naive intention she would return to the life she knew BC (Before Children). Since then, Bec had 3 children, and work became trying to survive if not thrive at home. Finally, it’s time for Bec to take a baby step back into the adult world, consolidate all she has learnt, and keep learning, by creating and sharing Not Super. Woman.
About Zoe
Zoe grew up loving fashion, music, and art. She never had the desire to lock in one dedicated career, she simply followed her capabilities and creative connections. Zoe studied fashion, started her own Bikini label ‘Zoe Elizabeth Bikini Queen’ in her early 20’s, in amongst modelling, working as a fashion agent, and fashion brand manager. Then in her late 20’s on her honeymoon, she was enlightened with the unexpected surprise she was pregnant with twins. The twins became her next endeavour and through that, managed to intertwine her past life with her new reality, and opened a children’s and lifestyle boutique in Melbourne. But the realities of retail, COVID, and homeschooling took some decision making, and an adaption to music booking agent, events manager, and now co-creator of Not Super. Woman.
